Received source code from David Mark, David was the original Author
of SFE-mail and deserves credit as such:
David Mark, a SPITFIRE SysOp, wanted to provide his callers with
InterNet E-Mail. Unable to find a way of doing this to his likings,
SFE-mail was born!
Well, that was back in 1994. While David is still a SysOp he no
longer runs SPITFIRE, he runs Major BBS. The name is CyberLink and the
number is (606) 342-8400, give it a call sometime.
I spent the following weeks getting familiar with the code.

----------------
Jay Dickinson, SysOp of The Port Brew BBS, provided me with messages
that he said contained wrong addresses. At first look I couldn't find
anything wrong with the addresses, what I did find was that the position
of the Date / Time field was wrong. The code was altered to correct the
grunged date and a new copy of SFE-mail was sent to Jay.
January 14, 1996
----------------
Received netmail from Jay stating that the addresses were still
wrong. After beating head against wall a few times and looking at
sample messages till I knew every byte of them I found the problem.
While the address field was correct the 'From Net' and 'To Net' were
wrong.
In looking at messages created by SFE-mail here I found that the
'From Net' and 'To Net' were correct. Baffled at this point I started
picking the code a part, what I found was an INTEGER division error.
For those that were unable to make use of SFE-mail due to bogus
addresses on outbound mail,.. as Della Moore would say 'I think you've
just been hit with that "arithmetic bug":(!!'
January 15, 1996
----------------
Added a routine to SFE-mail to allow outbound messages from SysOp to
be converted to SysOps real name,.. be sure to update your SFEMAIL.CFG
to reflect this change.
Started work on SFEMBULL,.. added support for both SF v3.51+ @
display codes and SF v3.5- CTRL character codes. You'll have to update
your SFEMBULL.CFG to reflect this change.
January 16, 1996
----------------
Received netmail from Jay Dickinson stating the changes I had made
worked,.. at this point we feel SFE-mail v2.0 is ready for release,..
all that is left is to update the documentation.
January 19, 1996
----------------
SFE-mail v2.0 is released to the general public!
